Yes, it is short and I prefer long to give the characters time to develop, to see the detective frustrated in the middle of the story and of course to have more fun when reading longer. Having said that, Bunburry is a great series! You wish to be there! Would love to go to the pub and of course to eat the fudge (I am really curious how the best fudge does taste - can somebody help me with an internet shopping link...). I am looking forward to reading the next story!
Another good mysteryDefinitely a very surprise ending.Looking forward to the next book.So far I have read all 5 in the series
Bunbury has another murder to solve and Alfie is in the middle of it again. This time we have a perfectly disagreeable victim that nobody seems to mind that she is dead. Who and how seems to be the topic of everyone in the village and the Bunbury Triangle have their theories . Sit back and enjoy the ride to the end, you won't regret it.
I like this series. The plot moves quickly but there several twists. The main characters are good for any kind of plot.
All of the the stories in this series are clever and enjoyable light read and in some places laugh out funny. This one was especially good. Hope they keep on coming.
I love the characters and how they relate to each other. The various subplots relate to the main plot flawlessly. The way the details of the plot are presented to the reader makes you want to keep reading and thinking through the mystery. My new favorite author, replacing Agatha Christie!
